On Wednesday 14th June 2017 we were incredibly lucky to have Paralympic swimmer Elllie Simmonds join us in school. She arrived in the morning with her mum and she talked to us about her achievements. She told us how she won her first Paralympic gold medal at the age of 13 and she explained how she felt when she received her OBE from the Queen. We then had the opportunity to ask Ellie some questions and we had our photographs taken whilst holding some of her medals. Before Ellie left she even gave us some copies of her books, Ellie's Magical Bakery, to read together. What a lucky school we are!
